The Adaptive Strength Foundations Program

After completing your Goal Setting sessions, your next step is to move into the Foundation program.

One thing that is unique to Adaptive Strength, is we make sure you are well educated and equipped to get the most out of each training session, and to minimise injury. The Foundations program is designed to teach you the needed movements to confidently join our awesome semi-private classes.

The Foundations program is our exciting introduction to the movements of Adaptive Strength and is designed specifically for beginners. Our primary goal in these one-on-one sessions is to prepare you to join the semi-private personal training with confidence! We will identify your own unique strengths and weaknesses to help you get the most out of your training.

Every new member who begins at Adaptive Strength will go through the Foundations program before attending semi-private personal training regularly. You will be personally instructed by one of our highly experienced coaches on everything you need to know to train efficiently and safely (for your safety and for the safety of those around you in class) with 8 x One on One training sessions.

The sessions include all technical mechanics of lifts, a range of motion assessment & movement evaluation, barbell & Kettlebell techniques, safety, etiquette, lifting practice and basic skills, followed by a practice section in each session.

You will practice each lift thoroughly to familiarize you with the basic techniques as a prep for regular Adaptive Strength sessions so you can train with confidence in our semi-private personal training.

During our Foundations program you will learn all of the fundamental movements needed to safely and effectively perform Adaptive Strength training. Our Foundation program is designed to go over each movement at a detailed oriented pace. This allows for more instructional time and personal attention by coaches in the critical initial learning period.

After graduating from our Foundations program, you will be confident in your ability to enter regular semi-private personal training without intimidation. Come with an open mind and be prepared to learn! Also, expect to be supported by a community of coaches and like-minded member who will want to learn more about you and help you succeed on your fitness journey!
